Lightning storm!

One of my first lightning photos ever! The way I took this was by using my ipod to take a video and then taking screenshots from just the right frame. Obviously this isn't the most effective way to get photos of lightning, but it does work! We had storms coming through here almost all night with more than 2 inches of rain falling and at least one or two severe thunderstorm warnings. I have a second one that looks pretty good I'll upload too. Today there was a significant risk of severe weather, and there was another storm around 1 pm, but the severe weather was a bust in our local area. It will probably be a while before I can do this again - this was probably the last major weather system that will give us these kinds of storms anytime soon!
